The Taunton Performing Arts Center (TPAC) invites directors and creative teams to submit proposals for three upcoming productions in our 2026–2027 season.

Expected audience appeal and marketing potential
Suitability for TPAC’s youth, family, and community demographics

Holiday Showcase

Celebrate the holiday season with a festive production, heavily featuring music and dance and geared towards families. This production should be high energy, visually engaging, and community-centric.

Strong proposals will include a clear overarching vision, flexible casting needs, and opportunities for performers of all ages and experience levels. Concepts should appeal to a broad range of audiences, including families, and create a joyful and festive atmosphere.

Ideal proposals will demonstrate a cohesive holiday theme with both high-energy entertainment and emotional resonance, and balance spectacle with feasibility.

Original Work

Looking for a space to bring your original play, musical, or devised piece to life? Look no further! We are seeking proposals for original content to be produced and developed at TPAC in the spring.

Strong proposals will demonstrate a strong narrative structure, thematic clarity, and artistic originality. Works that touch on themes relevant to our community and with regional and/or local appeal are strongly encouraged to apply.

Ideal proposals will feature staging concepts that showcase creativity and unique vision without excessive technical demands. We are also looking for a clear artistic vision, thematic depth, and a collaborative rehearsal and development process.
